My name is Anthony Scaletta and I live in San Jose and I have lived here for all my life.  No I have not gardened before.  My great grandmother grows her own food.  We are connected because we are family.  My grandmother moved when she was 7 years old.

My name is Josiah Diaz. I live in San Jose, California and have lived there most of my life.

 I don't have much experience with gardening. However, I do remember planting tomatoes and other plants in my Grandma's backyard. We would plant the seeds and look at them each day to see how big they've grown. It would excite me knowing that the plants would grow bigger and bigger and eventually have nice fruits and vegetables.

My name is Royce Hammond. I am originally from San Jose, California. When i was 10 i lived with my grandparents and my mom and my brother. Me and my grandpa decided to buy carrot and radish seeds and try to make a little garden in the backyard. I remember having to hoe the dirt and then everyday when i got home from school i had to water them. Eventually we gave up on the idea of a garden because we were getting no results after a long time. Someone in my life who i think would know about gardening a lot is my mom. She works at a grocery store and has told me about having to take care of plants before. She has a couple plants around the house and they have been alive for a long time.

My name is Nick Labao. I was born in Santa Clara and moved to San Jose. I have lived here for 11 years. I have never gardened before or grown food.  One person I know that was gardening experience is my mom. She had a garden when I was younger and knows how to make food from scratch.
